Agenda: The surfing contest will be held November 14, 15, & 16, 2008.  The Launch of the Fall Classic:   This event was conceived by a vision of Jim McDow and Jim Helm, both long time surfers of Jupiter, who then put together a committee to create the Fall Classic. Jim McDow has stated, “I wanted to establish an annual event that would give the local surfers an opportunity to show their talent.  The Fall Classic will let the “stars of tomorrow” challenge the “pros of today” and learn from the “legends of yesterday”. ” Jim Helm added “The Fall Classic will be a great event for the youth, as well as a tremendous opportunity for local businesses.”  Members of the committee include Mike Bloom, a Director for the Eastern Surfing Association, and Patti Bowman, Marketing Director for the Fall Classic.
